with the glass cats...would an Aqua Clear 300 be adequate filtration?

i've heard kuhli loaches tend to hide alot and are rarely seen, does anyone have any actual experience with them? Is there another type of loach that would fit well that is more active?? Thanks for the help so far

sorry I posted incorrectly on my 1st post, I also have 3 zebra loaches which I bought to combat a snail outbreak, because I thought that my corys were a smaller species, oh well. Will the loaches coexist happily with my other bottom dwellers or should I try and return them (may be too late now...

or would it be better to forget the gouramis/betta and increase the sizes of my rainbows and either the cardinals/glass catfish (depending on which ones I decide to get)?
