    will do that in future the shops i have tried always give confilcting advice so its difficult to know what is right and what is wrong for my tank. but from what i have heard on this forum it seems sound advice after all noone on here is after money :-)

    hi all bought 2 female swordtails on xmas eve and had 50-60 fry on xmas day ive not raised fish before iam feeding them on small flake food and shrimp in brine is this correct????

    ive just looked in one of my books and its called a suckermouth catfish not a plec like wot the shop keeper said i think i need to have a serious chat with this shop keeper

    the things shop keepers will say to sell fish thats bad!!! i have a pic of the plec i`ll put it on if i can figure out how... its belly looks like a leppord skin if thats any help

    ok i have worked out the ltrs in my tank it comes to 85.5 ltrs i have been adding 4ml protazin which treats a 60ltr tank according to the fish supplier i was nearly at max cap for the tank size as i only had small schoaling fish in. hope this helps the tank has been set up for some while...

    the tank is 30 inches long and i have a air curtain running the length of it . so iam hoping that the o2 levels will be ok i didnt reduce the meds but each fish which died was covered with whitespot.
