thanks for the replies, could I just keep the temp low on the heater as its adjustable?

Hello :) Basically got a 35L fish tank the other day and was just wondering if a 150w heater is too powerful for the tank? I've had a look around and its says 50-100w should be used? Got given the heater from a friend so would be nice if i could get out of buying another one ;) Thanks.
