VERY good advice. Slate roofing is no doubt more solid than what I use, which is very easy to sand down.

I thought I took photos when I made them, but I can't find any. The first one wasn't thought out well... the two "legs" were made up of small bits, and one of them kept detaching. Too small of a connection for a good bond. BUT it is still in Tank #1 with Betsy the betta. The second attempt...

Oh do NOT get me going on the overall decline of web search results. All personal sites seem to no longer exist, searches, regardless of which engine you use, are all garbage sites that don't even seem to be human made, etc etc etc... This has been happening for YEARS now... Fish related sites...

I have little slate "bridges" I made in two little betta tanks, and there haven't been any problems. This slate is from a local quarry that stopped being used in the early 1900s!! That makes it very easy to find small, tank-friendly specimens. I DID, though, boil them in water just in case.

Darnit... I didn't see this month's contests in time... But my bettas won't let me take good photos of them anyway! ;-) I did place my vote, though.

I don't see it, but as we know, that doesn't mean it isn't in there ;-)

I wonder... Does the tank need to have a fish in it? Tank #2 is a planted cube with a betta, Plant Test Tank #1 has shrimp only w/plants.
