No I used stock water I had that has been sitting little over a week or so. So I don't think I killed the bacteria. I also have 4 Neon Tetra who don't seem to be suffering either. I really can't wait to get a bigger tank with a good that I can child lock.

Just an update for anyone who's wondering, it's now been over 24 hours since the incident, and so far, all my fish seem to be doing fine. Eating and swimming normally. So I've got my fingers crossed that they will be fine.

I did thoroughly clean out the sponges also. I checked chemicals, everything was a normal range, ph was 7.2 which is what it was 2 days ago when I did the 10% weekly water change. I added the fish back last night after about 2 hrs of just letting the tank just filter. My fish all seem ok this...

My 2yo got into Vicks Vapor Rub cream, and put a decent amount into my 30g tank. As soon as I seen what had happened (within 5 mins) I quickly removed all fish into stable water. I cleaned the whole tank with hot water, rinsed the tank repeatedly, also cleaned all the plants, pump, and...
