I didn't soak because I didn't know about it then, but over time the color decreased and it's now a very pretty light yellow so it seems like the fish are naturally swimming in the lake.lol Thanks for the advice and comments everyone! :hyper: -Elissa :good:

The tellowish color in the tan is from the drift wood and my tank contains clean water! Thanx everyone -Elissa

Yes, it is a very powerful light and i am getting more plants soon, and yes i had a LOT of algae problems so now i try to have the light on for only 2 hours a day! thanx -Elissa
