I just want damsels because they are cheep and like I said I will be moving the tank in May, so I dont want a bunch of money in fish and they die during the move.

How much do you normally pay for regular live rock per pound? A local pet store is closing and they are selling it for $4 (US). 11 pounds was $50. That was only 3 medium size rocks.

The beach I can get it from is clean, not too many people around there. I did collect enough crushed shell for my 10g tank and it worked fine, I just wasnt sure if the sand would be ok. Thanks.

Can I put actual sand and drift wood from right off the beach, or would that have contaminants in it?
