Just a quick update really, everyone in the tank is mostly getting on fine -some new additions, 2 ghost shrimp (started off with 4, but one climbed out the back of the tank through the hole with the wires, the other mysteriously dissapered - too big to be eaten by any of the fish so no idea...

Thats true, Ill keep an eye on them, i've turned the air stone off now because I think it was disturbing the water a little too much for the betta, the flow rate on the filter is right down as well so it should be quite nice in there now.

Although mine are plastic, my betta definitely likes the floating plant at the top of the tank - there was some sort of bubble nest up there this morning but Im not sure if it's my betta's handy work or whether the filter has been sucking up air bubbles from the air stone. I trashed it during...

Hi, Thank you, I checked all the plants/deco when I bought it to make sure there were no sharp edges, most the plastic plants were fine just the pointy one bottom left but thats right in front of the filter and he doesn't go near it because of the current. :good: I was definitely not going...

Thanks for replying! It's good to know mine aren't the only ones. I don't have a background on my tank but its backed up to a magnolia wall (should i have a background?). The gravel is mostly white but has a load of other colours thrown in. I will keep an eye on them and let you know! Thanks...

My dwarf honey gouramis have changed colour? Just wondering if it's stress/disease or just natural. They have gone quite dark on top from their heads back and both have this dark stripe going to the tail fin. They are eating fine and seem quite active, I tested the water this morning...
