Man, VEGAS?! You are lucky!!! Where I work we have TONNES of bettas... but theyre all VT... so theyre nothing to really look at... Man I can almost imagine what you saw... im jealous!

alrighty... African Dwarf Frogs... but its hard to feed the poor froggies when you have a betta in the bowl Cories (i think those are the algae suckers) Ghost shrimp definitely.. however, if theyre small shrimp the betta will eat em

if i knew enough people who would take some of my fry.. then iw ould breed em... but i was also thinking i dont want to get stevies finnage all torn... arent they sexy :drool:

I'm modifying my one 10 gallon tank to hold about 6 bettas... but I'm going to get into more of the whole non VT type... ive found homes for 5 of my VTs all of my friends wanted them.. so I gave them the lecture on how to look after bettas, and they all came with me to Big Als and they bought...

:P Sand looks AWESOME in a tank.. I love dark coloured sand with plants!!! However, sand needs to be cleaned thoroughly.. I slacked off on my 10 gallon sand bottomed female tank, and the sand turned sour :S needs constant filtering... and its a pain in the bum when you suck sand into the hose...

Honestly, some petstore employees (no offense to some of you who are) are just complete uneducated morons. I think petstores shouldnt carry animals unless they've been approved. Like FISH ONLY STORES should be the only ones carrying fish... not pet stores... its just rediculous.. Ive seen...

*sigh* i wish i had the space and time to breed bettas. Id love to get a CT or DT female and breed Woody and Stevie (my CT) but no time here :S

I know his colours arent even or anything like that, and apparently his anal fin is "too long", but he is under three months old. That picture makes him look HUGE, but he is really a tiny bugger!
