I actually upgraded my 150l tank with a Fluval 306, so my Fluval 205 went into my 30l, but found it was too powerfull, so I stuffed the filter full of media, and a coarse sponge over the intank!

Assasin Snails are brilliant, but i'm now overrun with them!

That one in the video is a male, so I think you could do with another 3 females, all I do is a couple days of fresh bloodworm, and then a cold water change - around 40% being sprinkled in from a height, and you can be guaranteed at least 6 clutches of eggs!

Any livebearer I wouldn't recommend, i've lost a large amount of an adult Shrimps to guppies, aswell as Neon's.   Currently have a colony of Shrimp and Shrimplets with my Ember Tetra'/Micro Rasboras and it all appears well!

Other people not listening to your advice, recent one for me was a relation, setup a perfect 60l fully cycled and around 10guppies, she then bought 2 Knife Fish! And expects me to do the water changes!

Yup, thats what I did, just don't boil for too long, boil for 20mins, then submerge in clean cold water for a couple days!
