The tank is on the furthest wall away from the windows. my place doesn't get much light anyway but there is noway it could reach the tank. It's been in the same position since it was set up in 2001 and I have never had a problem till the melt down last year.

no live plants & because i've only 2 fish in at the moment i'm being extra careful about feeding. Have cut feeding down to every other day and a small amount at a time. I do put some blood worms in twice a week but only a small piece of frozen. The catfish is quite a greeding little thing...
