Adding baking soda did the trick. My cycle seems to be back on track and done, with my ammonia levels now reading 0, after I dosed it to about 2ppm just this morning. Nitrite levels are high, and I'm expecting them to 0 out by next morning. Thanks a lot!

My tank about...10 months old. And nope, I have not changed any products I use in months. And I don't know if i should be deserate. I know if pH changes a bit, you shouldn't worry too much. But it's dropping, and the changes are significant now. :unsure:

I'm using one of these And what do you mean by cycling. I thought cycling was done in new aquariums to prevent new tank syndrome?

He shows no outward signs of any kind of sickness. What kind of stress could it be? :/ My pH is 7.1 or so, and my ammonia is 0. The temperature is 79.

He swims around, then all of the sudden he stays in one place, then turns himself vertially (head facing up) and swims like that for a couple of seconds. Then comes back to normal horizontal position, and then repeats it a few times. What's up? 0.o
