Yes the tank is filtered. I live in Greenville Ky and there is no place around here to get water tested. We clean the tank about every 2 weeks, and we clean the whole tank rocks and all. We just hand scrub everything. Is there something we can buy to test the water? Thanks for the help.

Here is a picture of the ulcer on our only gold fish. He is in a 10 gallon tank and we have had him for 5 years.
