thanx !! i went back to the fish store and asked if they could have given me another fishes fry and they said no....they said she probably gave birth in the bag and they ate all of them except the one i have.....also while i was there i remembered i had to get more females so i got 3 more and...

thanks so much....but its been a day and only one baby. .... i think i did bring another fishes baby. probably when she was catching the fish with the net she also caught the baby. oh and i found out that my fish is not a platy ...--__--;; it is a Poecilia reticulata...or guppy as many ppl...

iam not quire sure i never expected a baby right away so i had to go buy a large plastic bowl that i could use temporarily. and thank u so much for the picture but that didnt really look like my fish.....so maybe its not a platy --__--;; but it does reseble it ....i think mine is alittle more...

today i bought fish at a store and when i got home i noticed there was one baby in the bag with a female and male. i dont seem to see a dark area in the gravid spot and i dont know too well what a fat platy is becuase i just got them today. how can i tell if the female platy i got today is...
