taking lights back tomorrow and will be asking him to reiterate what he told me about cycling as i now have fish and my readings from my test unit would say to me ,even though i am inexperienced in aquariums but not in fish keeping that the tank was not cycled when i purchased the fish

i really appreciate the offer and may well take you up on it but to be absolutely truthful in my opinion the tank was not fully cycled [even though where i purchased my fish from said it was he may be right but i have my doubts] i have had to have one heater replaced and surprise surprise...
