Hm, finally a side shot, assuming the image will work.

We purchased this as our first cichlid, and they were just labelled as "Miscellaneous African Cichlids". His purple changes according to his mood/behavior, and the stripes become more defined as well. He's about 4 1/2" long now. Any help with identification would be greatly appreciated.
