i thought 0 on every parameter was a bad thing

i let my tank do its thing. left it alone for a few days to let it cycle. i went from having fairly high levels of everything to everything being 0. my fish are arriving tomorrow ??

this may be pushing it but i got six endlers and a pagoda snail BUT i have a 5 gallon with a 10 gallon filter and a ton of biomedia.

i should also mention that originally my fish were supposed to take two weeks as i stated in an earlier reply but then the company told me 2 days so i asked them to hold off for a week so i could at least try to start a cycle (and unrealistically try to finish it lol). so they'll be here monday

i have hard water. i live in vegas. i do use dechlorinator and i have accepted the fact a fish in cycle is my only option at this point and it's okay, it was my first time with shrimp and i didn't do enough research. that was my fault. maybe later on i'll add shrimp. it is good to know endlers...

a ppm of what?

i have plenty of food ready but unfortunately my shrimp didn't survive and my tank is still cycling but it's making progress. i have nitrates at least. also, i was able to delay my shipment of fish for a week so they'll be arriving next monday.

any ideas how to handle the shrimp situation?

i plan to get more. they just didn't have much in stock so i got what i could. they come in "packs" and that was the only pack available

i should also mention i got six fish (3 female and 3 male), 10 shrimp (blue dream), and one pagoda nerite snail (i think the snail is arriving with the fish cause they're from the same company and were part of the same order).

hi! if this is even allowed, i'm looking to see if anyone on here sells live snails. i have pea puffers and my local pet stores seem to have very few or no snails. they're pretty young so i don't know if i can feed them normal sized snails (nerites and such). if it isn't wiggling they don't seem...
