2 of my Guppy's (both Male) are really going after and trying to mate with one of my female Platy's. They have barged her so much that the look to have injured her. I don't have any female guppy's in the tank (as I didn't want any baby guppies) so are the males just going for "anything...

Hi He's 14" and wonderful

He would have been about 2" long when I got him. (thats just a guess from memory) He's been in 4 different tanks now, as I've had to upsize the tanks to accomodate him.

I first started keeping fish about 6 years ago, and when I wanted a fish which would help keep the tank clean I sought advice. I went to a fish shop for advice, I was sold a pleco and was told not to worry because he won't grow larger then 4 inches. I should have gone away to do further...
