thanks thats worked a treat already!! i use api stress coat for whenever i change water. have tested water staright fromtap but not for some time. tested water before and after and stats are almost identical. i try to temperature match but its never perfect.

acting just like normal. had the fish from fish store for about 2-3 months and i dont like the sound of that disease. is there any steps i can take to help?

dont feed it that much to be honest. frozen tablet couple of times a week and then just flake food once a day ( got told this was right as i have live plants in there that if they get hunry they can nibble on) if thats wrong i will re adjust. not sure if its female cant see any defining features
