    Red spots on tail

Sorry for the poor description, i did give them thier full name at the start but forgot later on. Anyway they are Pseudotropheus Albino's. But I do have Clown Loach in the same tank which I believe don't like salt. I do a 25% water change once every other week which alway includes a gravel...

    Red spots on tail

I spoke too soon. The red spots that appeared to be fading are still on both of the Albino's with no signs of getting better. I have also noticed that ther are a few more on both fish. The strange thing is that both fish seem to be fine apart from the spots. I have been given them the...

    Red spots on tail

Thanks once again Tanked for all of your great advice. The only thing that I cannot get me head round is why it has only affected my two Pseudotropheus Albino's and nothing else. I will visit a shop tonight to get some treatment. Thanks Matt

    Red spots on tail

Thanks for trying to help. I don't know what to do, the red spots have turned into small red bumps. They look like they are dried blood on the surface of the skin and they have spread to the body as well. Anyone else have any idea's.

    Fish Not Eating

Yep they have all started eating again. But I must admit they do seem to prefer the lights off when they are feeding. Matt

    Fish Not Eating

Thanks Guys I have posted the problem on the emergencies page and found the answer. It was a lack of surface ripple of the water. Matt

    Fish Not Eating

Thanks Guys I think I have found the problem. I looked on the site for other entries with simular symptoms and found one that mentioned that the problem might be caused by a lack of ripple on the surface of the water. When I checked I discovered that my pump output had dropped a few inches...

    Fish Not Eating

Hi Tanked I have just added a load of floating plants, so hopefully they should start to bring down the levels. As for water changes, I do a 25% change every other week. However if when testing I find any of the levels to be high then I would change on a weekly basis.

    Fish Not Eating

They seem fairly happy and don't move away quicky when I approach the glass. However they do seem to be happier when the lights are off. Maybe its my ugly mug looking through the glass that they don't like?

    Fish Not Eating

Hi Guys I have tried this on the chit chat, but have had no response (Only waited two hours but I am getting concerned) My fish don't seem to be interested in the food anymore, up until recently they would nearly rip my arm off. It's not just one of them it's the whole lot. I have been feeding...
