Theres lots of java fern and a coconut cave (though the betta likes that!) so I am hoping he will be okay. I fed him at 12 this morning and have been away about 11 hours, so he could have been out anywhere up to that. he is swimming around past the betta too! :D

He came in a Cory Habrosus delivery from Trimar online. When I found him I ran up and asked what other fish were in with the cories, and they said they were in with Endlers, so thats where I got the assumption he was an endler :)

Just wanted to update! Baby fishy is still doing well! I got a breeding trap about a week ago and he seems much happier int he warmer water of the main tank, much more active. Are there any changes I need to make to his care now?

I'm getting really worried now! All of his fins are now clamped. Ive been treating with melafix but I cant get him to flare. he also seems tobe losing his colour around his face... going a paler blue than usual. he was a little bloated a few days ago, but not any more. His swimming is...

Ah good. I have melafix on hand so I've just started a course of that. Changed the temp to 26 for the corys. Will they be okay with the melafix? Any reason why this happens with bettas?

Ooh its in Germany? Don't let that put you off, ie ordering form abroad. Its comes very quick and the shipping is really cheap!!! (i think it was free with my order! If you go over a fiver...) I didnt even know it was abroad, thats how quick it is!
