I'm looking at getting the eheim professional 3 2073 external filter that can do upto 350l of water, My new custom tank is just shy of 300L, Ill be keeping malawis again.. Would i be better off with the next one up or should i just stick with my old tetratec 1200 external? Thanks.

Im getting some ocean rock from a mate of mine tomorrow but its caked in algi, id like to give it a good clean before i put it into my tank, anyone any ideas on how to get these to come up bright and clean?

Number one looks to be kenyi cichlid not really sure on the 2nd and 3rd picture isnt clear enough but looks kinda like a rusty cichlid maybe?

Im looking for some black sand for my tank, everywhere online are charging £15+ for a 9kh bag, anyone know of anywhere online that does black sand at a good price? Im needing enough to fill a rio 300 aswell.

I have argos play sand in my tank and have never lost any fish due to not stiring the sand ect :)
