well, I now have more Santa Maria Endler fry, than I can count, from my 2 starting pairs... a few ( the 1st ones ) are getting pretty big, still no colors yet... but I'll have to find a buyer for the young, once they develope... do they typically yield about half males, & half females, & does...

these 2 tanks are 2-55 gallon tanks end to end, so 8 feet of fish tanks... this is where I drink my morning caffeine...

so most of us, has had the disappearing fish thing... I have cherry shrimp in my Hillstream tank... I think several, but 2 in particular that are very large and brightly colored, and are normally super easy to spot in the tank ( a 55 gallon ) but it seems like they disappear every other month...

I used a cheap coffee bean grinder to chop them up... be careful though, the unavoidable house mice, we constantly battle in a 100 year old farm house also love them, and chewed a hole in the big zip lock bag, and attempted to empty out the bag, and while they are dried, there must be eggs...

no fighting, but from a distance all 3-4 types look like they have matching club jackets... apparently, the silver type tetras don't look like they belong to the club

well, at least until the -40 degrees F. shows up in a few months

for several weeks now, we have gotten to heat indexes right at, or over 100 degrees F. sunny and roasting every day, and been getting inches of rain, and severe thunderstorms every night, so, 100 degrees every day, and inch's of rain every night... I think my tropical fish would be better off in...
