thanks for letting me know, the guy at the fish shop told me the catfish would be fine as long as i put conditioning salt in the tank regularly, i'll definitely take him back and get something more suited for the tank.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for another tankmate for my columbian catfish, fossorochromis rostratus, and bumblebee cichlid. I've got a 30 gallon and am getting a 55 gallon in a couple months. My fish are all about 1" right now, still pretty young. I'd like another cichlid, just don't know too much...
