Hey All,
I'm wondering whether there are any species of nano fish that can coexist by itself of with the same species partner?
I know Platy's can but I'm unsure of any others.
I'm sure they'll be happier in groups but if there is perhaps any chance of this happening without causing any...
Yeah, there are a few Nerite snails that I want and I can't consider which type of shrimp as of yet due to the different colour varients but I'll make a start soon.
I took a lot of advice and ideas from Aquarium co-op by watching stocking ideas on youtube from 5 - 10 gallons and striking out fish that may be unsuitable.
Conflicting info as always! :(
Thanks dude!
It's a shame of the small dimensions, being a noob I've only found out that I don't have much stocking room.
Do you find flourish comprehensive and flourish plant tabs works well?
I also have Tropica root tabs, I've used 1 to see how the straw plant gets on but it's only been a...
That's terrible news!
Thanks for the help regardless.
I'm looking at other threads and people seem to be stocking and have a lesser gallon tank than me? I guess they're just putting their fish at risk all for their own selfish wants?
Great :(
I really don't want a shrimp only tank - seriouslyfish.com aren't giving any fish recommendations when I do a beginner search based on my dimensions.
I just want an economical tank with 1 or 2 mid to top fish a few mid fish and have my shrimp and snails at the bottom.
If I have to...
Yeah I'm currently using API leaf zone I hear it's not the greatest, I've only seen pearling once. I may get a CO2 kit to speed up the growth.
Tropica Anubias Barteri Var Nana
Eleocharis montevidensis
Salvinia auriculata
Taxiphyllum 'Spiky' - stuck to on decor, think this was a bad idea...
Hey All,
Loving this forum!
I currently have a live planted tank and will add livestock later down the line but I'm wondering whether water changes are necessary?
I've been doing it up until this point and also adding beneficial bacteria, Dechlorinator and API Quickstart solution every time I...
Thanks for your reply.
Deffo fish as well, the tank currently sits on my shelf in my living room and I want it to be part of the decor so any fish that compliments the room and can co-exist with the shrimp and snail would be ideal.
Very helpful.
My readings are near 0, I've tested 4 times over the space of 2 weeks now.
I think I'll wait a month to be safe than sorry.
I do have a Seachem ammonia badge which is reading yellow = safe but I would rather the plants reach a height/density where I want before adding any...
