interesting debate,and of course we all have our own likes and dislikes regarding the UGF,as for me i have been using the UGF in all my tanks since 1973 and have had no problems with them first using an airline and stone and now powerheads,my plants grow very well and i have had to cut the plant...

some very good advice has been given by other members,i myself am one of the old time fish keepers,but the secrets of successful fish keeping is to have patience,good filteration,and airation,and do part water changes once a week or once every two weeks using a dehlorinator in the right...

nic,the fish may snap out of it later..some of my fish now and again do it (nose down)..i just keep an eye on the fish and all is well,fish do the most strange things at times. ..regards den.
