Well there is no sign of any of them although I haven't had any more loses. I have however upped the amount of food I am giving wondering if I was underfeeding!
I have 3 clown loaches, 2 of them are approx 4 inches long and a much smaller one abot 1.5 inches.
I'm thinking a second tank may be...
I have tested the water before and after water changes and all is well according to the tests.
Is there something I should be looking at specifically bearing in mind the disappearances?
I inherited the fish with the tank so didn't have a choice as regards species I appreciate the loaches are...
Hi all,
I have 'lost' 3 fish in the last three weeks. When I say lost I mean they have actually completly disappeared! :sad: a ballon platy, glowlight tetra and a zebra loach with no sign of any remains.
Could my gold sucking loach be eating them?

My fish are happy and healthy and I have added 3 balloon platies (although I fear my gold sucking loach ate the 4th! :angry: )
I have been feeding flaked food and the odd treat disc but I have read I could feed some raw vegetables.
What can I give and how often?

Can't believe how much activity we have tonight. All the fish have been out playing and smooching around. The tetra are enjoying the bubble curtain using it as a fairground ride :nod:
I have found them (in the 24hrs we've had them) most hypnotising and have to say I'm just a tad hooked...

I have inherited a 4ft fish tank - picking it up later today :unsure: I am a little concerned as I am a first time tropical fish keeper and really don't want to lose the fish.
The stocks are down in the tank but there are still a number of fish.
I have been conditioning water ready...
