I personally woudlnt have a problem with adding a betta into that set up if it were me, providing it's heavily planted and the current isn't extreme. That's just me though.

Healthy botia histrionica or botia kubotai. if you are having a clear out or whatever im after good healthy loaches and will pay and collect if not too far from the northamptonshire area.

Wouldn't the loaches try to eat the assasin snails too? I put one zebra loach into a tank and over night it eradicated every single snail.
