So, for those who remember, i had originally planned to have an exodon tank. aside from the lacking quality of the exodon at big als, when i purchased 7 sterbai cory, i fell in love. forcing me to buy 7 more. my new tank stock list is as follows.
2x Kribensis (breeding pair)
10x red eye tetra...
once again waterdrop couldnt be more thankful. ill make sure i get everything under control.
the red eyes would be lunch, however i will be giving them to a friend to take care of once i get the exodons. as for the corys, ive done lots of research, and im confident that they will work. after...
Wow, just learned a whole lot. definitly going to read that again a few times. i should have specified more though. i am doing a fish in cycle, 10 red eyed tetras, after which i will be giving them to a friend. i will definitly be introducing the cory before the exodons to give them a good...
so if i were to do a 30 % water change in the middle of the cycle if wouldnt do anything to the cycle? and then i could just add all the fish? even with the high nitrite and nitrate? im not entirely sure. water change, add fish, good to go? haha im new
I have some questions with regards to adding fish. my cycle is in the middle of its process, ammonia 0 nitrites high and nitrates high. can fish be introduced when the nitrites drop but the nitrates are still elevated of does everything have to essentially be 0. also, i am getting exodons, so...
i wasnt aware that there was an advice limit. i must have missed that. ill take advice from the experts. and read up. corys have been very successfully kept in aquarium with exodon shoals. take a breather pal.
ok, so i cant get any real answer from the net. and you guys on here are pretty good! i know its risky to have corys in my exodon tank, but i really do want a clean up crew. so ive got a few questions about crayfish:
- how effective are they at cleaning.
- how many can i keep? (3?)
- should i...
its actually plastic plants. real in the future i hope! as for the corys, ive heard both ends of the spectrum on keeping them with exodons.and lately ive been getting positive feed back about it. So im gonna give it a try. ill be introducing the corys a week before the exodons, and also just...
here is my 55 gal exodon aquarium. ive finalized the deal with the lfs. once my aquarium finishes its cycle, i will be getting 25 exodons for $150, and 7 sterbai cory 50$. not too bad a deal i figure seeing as the exodons are $10 ea on the sign, and corys are $10 ea as well. hopefully the link...
