A 70 litre would be fine for a Betta & some smaller cory species such as pandas, the cory would appreciate a sand substrate. Add the cory first, then the Betta, as for the tank being under a window you may get an algae problem, but as long as it's not direct sunlight you should be ok

I have my bus pass & have just taken up cycling again, so if I can do it after so many years not doing it then you certainly can, if you keep making excuses then you'll never do it

What else do you have in the tank & what's the temperature as pandas prefer cooler temps & sterbai like higher temps. Corys won't eat fry, though they may at eggs if they find them

They'll be fine, I left 3 week old fry for nearly a week with no losses, they can feed on the insuforia in the tank while you're away

As Snazy says the pellets will be too big for the fry, get a small pestle & mortar & grind the pellets into a powder for them. Add an airstone to the container they're in & change the water daily, siphon out any uneaten food

My shrimp love the Hikari shrimp cuisine but feed very very sparingly as a treat, once a week is plenty. I'm assuming your tank will be well planted & have moss in it as shrimp feed on the microorganisms & algae on the plants
