Hello, I’ve been looking at using a Herbie system for my sump setup. With the stand pipes going through the bottom of the tank, do I just use a holesaw to cut under where the pipes will be? Or do the pipes run out the back? Thanks!

How does the Herbie method work? How do the pipes go through the bottom of a stand? Is there holes drilled for the pipes?

Hello, In the future I will be upgrading to a tank that’s 756 litres (199 gallons). I’m trying to decide on filtration for it, I already have a FX4 on my current tank and a spare tank that I can make a DIY sump for. My question is, how loud are sumps? And what overflow would be the best? Thanks!

Hello, I want to state I do not have either fish yet. I’m wondering if an Elephant nose and brown ghost knife can be in the same aquarium? The tank I’m getting will be 756 litres or 199 gallons. It will be planted and I’ll add PVC pipes for makeshift ‘caves’. Thanks!
