I have a duo deep 1200 which holds about 210 liters and i have the filter that came with it from pets at home.

Hi guys At certain places in my tank the current seems qwite strong and the fishes have to swim slightly harder to get whare they wanna go. now the bloke at pets at home said this was a good thing as it will make my fish stronger is this true.

I was just wondering if its worth adding a nother filter to my tank its fine at the moment but would the fish appreshiate another filter cheers

Hi guys, When i have my heater in a vertical position the bottom digs slightly into the gravel ive read in the instructions that its not ment to be like that i was just wondering what difference it makes, should i move my heater to a horozontal position which does not look as good. cheers

Ive read that i need to rinse out the foam in the filter every week ive also read i need to rinse it in aquarium water which confuses me, does it mean the water in my tank or in a bucket of aquarium water which i am about to dispose of. cheers

hi when i bought my tank i got a few bottles of chemicles with it aqua plus,nutrafin cycle, nutrafin waste control and nutrafin plant grow ive put in aqua plus i have a 55 gallon tank so i had to use about half the bottole this seemed like a lot of chemicles espeshaly as it instructs me to do it...

so if i just feel the water and i think its roughly right every thing should be ok how accurate do you have to be.

right ive been told i have to do 25% water change each week im also told the water i put back in has to be conditioned with aqua plus i can do that. but then im told the new water has to be the same temperture as the temperture in the tank how do i get it to the same temperture. cheers
