Finally come to a decision as to what i'm gonna put in my 30 gallon...Bristlenose Plec!! I have chose this fish due to them being easy to keep and being virtually inexpensive, i love the way they look and seems to be the absolute perfect fish for me to begin with. Would a pair be okay in a 30...

Oh cheers, that's really usefull. They can live in water of room temperature or cooler. That's great, no need for a heater..so more money to plant the tank! :good: :hyper:

So what can anybody tell me about keeping red claw crayfish then? Will the tank need cycling? What size tank needed for 1? and how much bigger for 1+ etc etc...i'd love to have a nice crayfish tank done by christmas.

Nice. What about inverts? What sort of inverts could i keep in these size tanks? I'd love a red claw crayfish..although they grow quite large don't they and are hardly compatible with fish. If these tanks are too small, what size tank would you recommend for a red claw crayfish?
