No tap has 0 nitrates. Tank was at 0 until I added TSS. I did find a post saying with TSS it can skip nitrites and go straight to nitrates phase so I think you are right about letting it ride. I'll add ammonia when it hits .25 ppm and bring it up around 2 ppm. See where it goes from there...

Thanks, most of what I have read for Boesemani said 70-77F range thats why I thought the cories would be ok. Im not against loaches so I will do a bit of research on them next. Yes I know to stay away from certain loaches as they can grow into monsters...lol Thanks for the reply!
