Actually if you had read more carefully you'd know Silvani said frozen food helps prevent constipation because it is moist and not dry. I understand that people are free to feed their fish whatever they want. I'm just trying to understand your reasoning behind why you think frozen is so good...

Nobody said frozen food causes constipation. Just because it don't cause constipation doesn't mean it prevents it. And freeze dried takes 2 seconds to open the lid of the food container. What is there to gain by going frozen other than water pollution and possible parasites?

Thawing frozen food IS a hassle compared to pellets/freeze dried that's not opinion it's fact. Also learn how to read. Peas makes sense to YOU because YOUR Bettas got constipation. Mine NEVER gets constipated therefore peas ARE nonsense. ;) Who's knocking people's methods? All I said was that...

It is only more likely if you only feed them freezed dried food. Like I said you should be feeding them a varied diet not just hamburgers. Again there is NOTHING to gain by feeding them frozen if you already have them on a varied diet of pellets and freeze dried food. Go with freeze dried since it doesn't pollute the tank as much as frozen and much more convenient. There isn't any gain by going frozen and it's a hassle to boot.

    Bettas And Fighting

I've found that if you go with a small glass tank you end up paying close to the same amount as those complete acrylic kits. For example: 5 gallon glass tank $10 lid $5 filter $10 flourescent light $15 Total: $40 Acrylic is superior to glass but it needs better care to prevent scratches. My...

    Stupid Gourami

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=57172 If using Melafix you should use a smaller dosage than what is printed on the label when treating labyrinth fish. From what I've read the Melaleuca inhibits the labyrinth organ on these fish.
