Hi all! Recently I noticed that sometimes my Khuli Loach has a very pale colouring to it but then goes completely back to normal. Any ideas on what this could be? It's eating fine and showing no other signs of sickness but it just seems a little odd :/

Angels and Guppies together just don't mix well I'm afraid. Angels can be very aggressive and territorial which doesn't make them a good community fish :( x

I would try giving her frozen bloodworm. Fish go nuts for it and it's really very good for them. A good tip is to buy some frozen bloodworms and hand feed them to your platy using tongs or tweasers.

There are actually quite a few fish you can keep fighters with as I keep mine with 2 Platys, 1 Black Sailfin Molly, 1 African Dwarf Frog and 1 Khuli Loach. My Siamese Fighter was also happy living with gouramis, Shrimp and clown loaches. Just stay away from mixing him in with Cichlids, guppies...

Yeah they were in the same tank and had "chosen" each other though had not yet mated.

Your frog is lovely :) I feed my female African Dwarf on dried and frozen bloodworm which she can't seem to get enough of! I don't know if this is the same for anyone else but try sticking an algae wafer in there too. x
