Ugh...filled the tank with tap water and realized I didn't treat the water first. Since nothing is in the tank...can I add the droplets into the tank to de-chloranate? Seems like the same method as putting droplets into the bucket.

I will look at angelfish. fluttermoth...I planned on putting the algae eater in once the cycle is complete...but thanks for making note of that!

Thanks! I am so excited and my algae eater will be happy when he gets back into a bigger home! I will put the filter media in and start the cycling process tomorrow as I am letting the tank just run for a day to let things settle. I then will focus on what types of fish I'd like to have...

I am sure the bulbs weren't used for that long, but I will pick up another to keep on hand. Good idea to check the thermostat! Thanks again for all your help and I'll be back next week after I get my tank up and running! :)

Reading the pinned fishless cycling...there are a couple different methods. Which do you recommend?

Isn't anyone out there they can help me figure out how to move my fish safely?

I will be moving by the end of the week and not sure how to move my fish. I have a 30 gallon tank with 3 mollies, 2 glow fish and an algae eater. I will be moving about 45 minutes away and not sure how to proceed. Help!
