the fluval internal filter is not really up to the job mate, better off with a external filter.

nope this is a deffo no no as goldfish are cold water fish i.e unheated water, just get a larger tank if you really want the goldfish.

i use a mag-float on both of my tanks removes water marks and algae e.t.c.

thanks for the info, and iam aware of there size as well, but i went to my lfs to get my first few mubuna and it turns out the guy was after a some n.venustus for his personal tank so i did a trade with him my male and female n. venustus for 5 mubuna, worked out best for both of us.

just stick with the tap water and use a water conditioner.
