I'm very new to all of this too. The cone shaped ones could be Malaysian Trumpet Snails. If they are you could be in trouble because they breed on their own....as in they don't need a partner to mate with....they have babies on their own....very fast!! Do they look like...

Yeah he only cost me 4 euro...about £3. He came out of a tank that had fish in it so I'm afraid to add him to my 2 Fancies yet. I have him in a bucket with water from my aquarium at the moment. When do you think i can add him, I'm frightened he'll be carrying somethig and will infect my fish.

Hurray, I finally found an Apple Snail in a shop today!! I'm delighted.

I did, but £10 is a bit expensive for postage. If no one here has any I'll get one of those.

Hi there, I'm looking for an Apple Snail to add to my freshwater aquarium. I'm in Sicily, so he'd have to come from UK for him to travel ok {and quickly so he wouldn't suffer}. I would obviously pay for him and for shipping. If anyone has any offers can they let me know. Thanks a million. :)
