    rinsed it out with water, i just remembered i clean the glass with windex (glass cleaner) but i only use a little on the outside

    thx for the response....i already fixed the filter problem with some screen around the intake...is it possible the strong flow killed the betta? and should i take some of the tetra out?

    cleaned the tank everything in the tank is new, ran the tank for a month while i cycled it.
