i don't normally use feeder fish, i mostly use crickets and worms for my other fish but these are needlenoses' and its nearly impossible to wean the off of feeder fish.

so far his behaviour is still normal and there are no signs of fungus or infection on the broken section of his beak, but he's having a difficult time catching his food (guppies & minnows) as 1cm of his bottom beak is missing. i hope it doesn't offend anyone but yeah... i've had to "stun" his...

One of my needlenose broke his bottom jaw, about half of the bottom jaw is gone. I'm not quite sure what I should do to prevent infection, melafix or salt bath maybe? Also, does anyone know if the jaw will correct itself or grow back? Thanks.
