    Guppies Have Been Eaten!

There are two fairly powerful internal filters / pumps that work well. I also have a 6inch airstone fed from a Reno pump going all of the time. All of the fish look normal, nothing untowards. So why just guppies? I did a 50% water change after the 72 hour blackout and tested the water before and...

    Guppies Have Been Eaten!

My tank would get about an hour of sun a day - or else it would if I did not angle the blinds to minimise the sun impact. Ammonia = 0 Nitrites = 0 Nitrates = 10 ppm ph = 7.0 to 7.2 (which is my norm). results from API test kit. Tank has been pretty static at these levels for many weeks. Only...

    Guppies Have Been Eaten!

    Cycling ....nearly ...but!

waterdrop, thanks for your response. I more or less repeated the cycling. The ammonia dropped in a couple of days and the nitrites spiked and have now dropped to zero again. However, the ammonia has crept back up to about 2 ppm. More or less where I was before!! The Ph has dropped from 7.5 ish...

    Cycling ....nearly ...but!

Hi, I have a wall hung 80L new aquarium which I started a fishless cycle on 3 weeks ago. I recognise the limitations with a wall hung aquarium but it is exactly what I want to keep some small and active fish. I am using API master freshwater kit for testing. The tank has two good size filters...
