It was dead when i put it in the drain because i squashed it getting it into the glass tube :good: still an ugly looking thing though lol ive got some of them too on one of my 7 gallon breeding tank's havent a clue where they come from, i can see them wriggling about in the water and also on...

Its gone down the drain now but it was a light colour with a tail too just wondering if it was some sort of larvae from a fly or something as my tank's are housed in my cellar and i get a couple buzzing round me lights.

Hi just done a water change on one of my tank's ive a little terracota pot in the corner and when i lifted it out of the tank some sort of horrid thing was wriggling about on it , i put it into a test tube to get a closer look, it had 6 legs and the most ugliest thing ive ever seen, anyone any...

Hi all im currently setting up 15 tanks in 2 6ft metal frames (12 breeding in 1 & 3 main ones in the other and taking its time putting together lol) anyway noticed a crack about 3 inches long on the base of one of the main ones coming from the back, :angry: would i be able to put sealant over...

ive got a headache now ...all double dutch to me this is :lol: .....i was the same as a couple of posts back filled the tank up added some warm water to get the temp up then put fish in .....all had air bubbles all over them but they all lived .....so whats all this chemical stuff :unsure:

They look nice on the pic's they got up ,the one i was looking at didnt have the power supply with it, so i might invest in a couple of them when i get my set-up up and running :yahoo:

Is that the old garden centre in woodford ? i got a new pump off them when i got this set-up had the old one 3 week's and it packed up the guy i bought it off said he purchased it from there a couple of years before so i took it back told them i lost my reciept and got a brand new pump for free...
