My tank is a 30 gal tank. It started about a week and a half after I put water in it as little strings. Hairlike. I thought it WAS hair that made its way into the tank. A strand here and a strand there. Not everywhere like it is now. I would like to know how to get rid of it. It makes my plants...

The tank has been set up for about 5 weeks now. I dont know the other stuff. I am ging to get a kit today. I have been told it is white hair algae. How do you get rid of it? :)

My tank has dusty looking white strings all over. I have 5 glass cats in there. I have a photo of the mess. Look along the plants edges. What do I do? Here is a photo. http://img222.imageshack.us/i/fishd.jpg/
