Newbie HELP - Betta with swim bladder disorder

Sorry about your situation. I'd recommend the forum fishlore as there's a lot of active people on there. When you are using a filter do you not do water changes? A filter doesn't replace the need for water changes unfortunately. I know you said the readings were fine, but what were the numbers...

Adding water from an old cycled tank won't help the cycle as the good bacteria doesn't float freely in the water, but lives on your filter and decorations. What dechlorinator do you use? I recommend prime...

    Strange lump on Betta

That's very strange, I don't think it's constipation either. Maybe it's a tumor. Does it look like something prolapsed? I wouldn't recommend using something like pimafix/melafix or medicating unless you're certain what it is. Sorry I couldn't contribute more. If it does end of being a tumor the...

Help PLEASE: Betta "Finny" has bulge on tummy..

OK. I created an account just for this thread. How is Percy doing today? What are your water parameters? I'm almost positive Percy has Dropsy which is most of the time fatal unless caught early. The first pic you posted on page 1 looks like he was pineconing where the tumor was. The bloating...
