the fish really isnt moving at all, so hence no flicking :/ the gills don't look inflamed, anus looks normal, i think at this stage i need to put him out of him misery?

no he dosnt seem bloated, he looks thin if anything, i do have a betta in the tank with them but its segmented off from the rest of the community, could the sight of the betta be upsetting him?

my boy salvador used to get under the large gravel i had in his tank when i forst got him, first time i was like , wherei n the hell?! as im staring at the empty tank he bursts out from under the gravel and flares at me... little punk.... i have cince got smaller gravel.

wow, you learn somthing new everyday, when i was a kid i used to get rocks from bush creeks and what not, and stick them in with my gold fish without problems, ive doen the same now with my tropicals, got them from our garden pond, we baught a couple of tonnes to line the bottom of the pond and...

my betta really likes tetra colour enhancing flakes, they smell really strongly, i think thats partly it, the worse they smell, the more delicious they are, he prefers the flakes to his betta pellets and will bite down on them so violently that he jumps out of the water.... maybe his just a weirdo?

the gouramis seem more scared of him than he does of them, i had gerome in there for a year and he was always fine, although gerome was only a veiltail, could the extra weight of salvador being a delta contribute to it being easily torn?

a week after my late betta gerome passed, i introduced salvador into my tropical tank. he seems really happy being in the warm filtered water but he is tearing his tail up and im wondering if it could be stress or the current from the filter thats doing it? he hardly has any butterfly colouring...

i pulled the g-man out of the tank last night, his still alive thismorning but barely, his layign on his side and cant get up, he keeps trying, wiggleing his fin, poor thing :/
