Ich is a parisitic cycle infection and only affects already weakened fish , and turning the temp up only speads up the "cycle". The spots on the fish cycle 1, then they fall off and form cysts on the floor of the aquarium, then the cysts busts and produce lots of more free swimming parasites...

With any treatment you need to put extra airation into the tank as the meds depleats the water of oxygen ive had to treat for this once in 6years and that was at the very start when i hadnt long set up, i used WSM which dosent colour the water and is 100% affective.

This will have no affact on the bacteria in the filter what are you using WSM?

Have you got a hospital tank? you'll need to treat him separetly with a product made by Interpet called anti-interal bacteria hope this helps.

Have you tried testing the water? does there seem to be any adverse affect to the fish.

Swim bladder affects all areas of fish position in the water weather it be at the top or the bottom the point is that its swim-bladder is unstable, sounds as though he could be getting bullied in the tank, have you any other guppies in with him? also guppys benifit from salt in the aquarium...

Are you sure you washed the gravel ect: out properly? sometimes when this is not washed correctly you get like a hew above the gravel

It could be dropsy do the scales look as if they are stickin out? failing this it may be an internal infection.

:( Sorry to hear about your fish i read your post too late sorry . it sounded like a swimbladder defect, the important thing with diagnosing fishes health is getting it right cos sometimes the treatment itself does more harm than good not to say thats what happened in this case keep your chin up...
