Once your fry reach about 1 inch, they are ready. Make sure you have lots of plants for them to adjust in, I would say moving them one or two at a time.
They seemed pretty too, but I think I still like the Apistogramma Cacatuoide. Although, if my store doesnt carry them (or kribs) I will get those. Thanks for the input!
The Apistogramma Cacatuoide was super cute.
I would love to get them a 50 gallon tank, but alas, Mother of the house says that 7 tanks is enough.... :(

What are your suggestions of cichlids I can put here? I personally think that cockatoo dwarfs are...

I would love either, but my local fish stores dont care them. The only fish store near me that carries shrimp at all is petsmart. I am thinking of waiting a month or two, just using their tank as a plant growing tank. When I am ready I willmake sure the water is good and then get them and post...
I HIGHLY disagree, mine havee NEVER caused problems with plants. They are great in tanks with fry or frogs or tetras or livebearers. Loaches and catfish will suck 'em out though. I dont have problems with empty shells, They tend to grow with the snails I have, unless they get eaten, and have to...
If you go to your local pet store, and you buy some plants, you can ask the person fetching them for you to throw in a snail or two. They usually will do it for free.
