    Fire Extinguisher Type And Ingredients

You'll be hard pressed to find a co2 fire extinguisher in any of the major stores. I've been searching for one as well. Even the specialty stores only special order them in southern ontario. If you find a source please let me know! John

    Diy Co2 Bubbles

You probably have a leak somewhere. They are usually where the air line enters the lid. How did you seal the connection? I wasn't able to get a seal with silicone I ended up using plumbers goop and haven't had any problems since

    Pc Or T5

Here comes the confusion...... In my opinion T5 and PC are not the same (different lenghts, different pins, different fixtures, different outputs). I went through the same thing a few months ago trying to decide between the two. In the end I opted for the PC's just because They packed more...

Would This Reactor Work On Diy Co2?

the 3/4 tube is just some 19mm hose (any hardware store should have it for about $2.50/M) that I had in the garage and it happened to fit nicely over the output of the pump. the stick is the airline from the co2. I'm using a drop checker and I'm able to keep it in the "green" by changing 1...

Would This Reactor Work On Diy Co2?

It will be very effective but you have to be very careful or your filter can suck the contents of your diy co2 into the tank. I've also heard that the co2 can make the plastics in your filter brittle ( true?!? I have no idea but I don't wanna trash my nice new filter) It can also make your...

Would This Reactor Work On Diy Co2?

I was able to find a pump similar to this http://www.petsandponds.com/securestore/c2...16697986.2.html at princess auto for $8. I just stuck some 3/4 tubing over the output nozzle used the old blue sponge from my canister and a little air stone. Here's a nasty little drawing it works pretty...

    Breaking In The New Filter

I did mine in 2 weeks with no problems. I did the gunk squeeze when I first put the filter in. then when i pulled the old one out I used the filter from my tetra hob in place of the polishing filter of my eheim pro. 2 more weeks and I put the polishing filter in where it belonged.

    High Phosphate

the best way to get rid of your phosphates is to do water changes....unless you have high phosphate in your tap water. How high are your phosphate levels? Do you have any plants in the tank?

    Help! Help! Algae

It sounds like beard algae. Here are some pics to help identify it http://www.floridadriftwood.com/algae_identification.html It's usually caused by high phosphate levels, or low co2. I'd check your phosphate level. I went through a similar problem with my tank my phosphate level wasn't high...

    High Phosphate

Just a quick question...What do they consider high? If you check your city's web site they will give you the exact amount of phosphate in your water. That will give you some indication if water changes will help reduce your levels. Some flake foods have high phosphate levels as well that...
