I haven't tested the water but I think its soft. No limescale in kettle and soap and shampoo bubbles up a lot lol Rams it is then. What's the ratio? is it 2F to 1M like the gourami I had? Any other fish that would look good do you think? :)

Hey, I started up a tank around 6 months ago and now my gourami have died, over a period of a few months. All water stats are good and i read on here that quite a few people no longer keep them due to them not lasting very long. My tank is 70l and now contains 4 glass catfish, 7 cardinal...

Shouldn't take long at all, maybe like a day. Should have mostly cleared over night, i have sand and it went so cloudy but settled after a day.

Not got the tank up here yet only know its a 70l. My bro is bringing it up on monday with some mature media too :D. I shall look more into it then but may end up going back to the neon tetras and gourami idea. Cheers though :D

So your saying i should go for the new world ones. I know the tank is too small for angels so i shall search for others :) How many would it be possible to keep??? How many labs do you think for a 70l tank? :/

Im starting up a tank on monday :) and was originaly going to make it neon tetras and plecs with a couple of small gourami. However now im wondering if i could make it into a cichlid tank because i really like the look of them. Is a 70l tank big enough. It will be cycled and over filtered...

I have herd of feeding the fish using the net every so often so they come towards it which is a good idea. Not really a fix for short term though :(

Personally i think that the little piece of paper is a great idea. Surely if you are an experienced fish keeper then you wont want to lie and put unsuitable fish in you tank.... and if your not an experienced fish keeper then you wont know what there looking for and will therefore either look...

Yea i have been to the stockport one... The massive reef tank is amazing!! Weird the bettas are in tanks all next to each other though... Got quite a bit of stuff for my "soon to be" tank there, heater, filter, gravel etc. the post code is SK4 2BE...
